The spring season is upon us, and this year, it’s bringing even more than blooming flowers and warm weather. Spring sports have been starting up in schools and clubs around the Burlington County districts. Outdoor events have also been in the planning for the warm weather. We here at the Holly Spirit invite you to check out some local businesses as the weather warms and we move back outdoors.

Vincent’s Homemade Ice Cream, Mount Holly

Sunday, March 14, Vincent’s Ice Cream opened in Mt. Holly for the spring and summer season. As the weather warms up, ice cream is the perfect cool down. Vincent’s Homemade Ice Cream stated on Facebook that they will be adding Artisan coffee and pastries to their shop, with their new addition of Vincent’s Uptown Coffee to a former party room. Apart from it being just down the street from Rancocas Valley, the shop is family friendly and the perfect place to stop for a delectable spring treat.

Nature Walks at Amico Island, Delran

Amico Island in Delran, NJ is starting nature walks on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The walks will be led by Naturalist Jen Bulava. These walks are perfect to learn more about nature and the animals in Amico Island and a great spot to get out of the house for some fresh air. This event starts on Thursday, March 26 at 2:30 PM.

Country Line Dancing, Burlington Fairgrounds

Burlington County is offering Country Line Dancing at the Burlington County Fairgrounds this spring. The events last from 1 to 4 PM every Friday. It is free and open to all ages. Even if you have never done line dancing before, it’s for all experience levels and a great place to enjoy the nice weather with some friends and learn some line dances.

Craft and Antique Show, Rancocas Woods

Rancocas Woods is hosting a craft and antique show on Saturday, March 27 with a variety of fun shops and activities, so be sure to support local businesses and stop by. It runs from 10am-4pm. Food and live music will also be available.
