As we surge further into 2021, innovation and technology continue to entrap our world in an online bubble. One of the leading mobile brands, Apple, has been a pioneer for such new and obsessive electronics. From the very first iPod to the iPhone 12 max, Apple has greatly expanded the reign of technology all around the globe. The company is rumored to drop a few new lines of technology within the year 2021, and this article will outline and provide a short description for these upcoming products.

To begin, an improved Apple TV 4K is one of the newest additions to Apple’s reign of technology. To sum up the product, it comes with a Siri-Remote, a high frame rate HDR, innovative color balance technology and a plethora of options for entertainment. The TV’s are equipped with Apple Music, an Apple Fitness application, Apple Arcade and AirPlay which allows users to share videos with ease. The product was dropped among other Apple accessories in April of 2021, and its starting price is $179. The Siri-remote is sold separately for $59.

A product that Apple had been looking to release for years now is finally being dropped: the Apple AirTags. Infused with next generation proximity tracking technology, the AirTags allow you to track how close you are to whichever objects you apply them to.  Currently, an individual AirTag is priced at $29 and a pack of four AirTags can be purchased for $99.

Following the AirTags is one of Apple’s most infamous pieces of technology, the iPhone. The company could continue their release-streak of once a year, a streak that they have sustained for about the last five years. Despite the iPhone 12’s initial appearance in October of 2020, rumors of an iPhone 13 have already surfaced. Multiple additions could be expected to this device such as an increased battery life and better connection to data servers. The device is rumored to be released in late 2021, and if the technology world were to guess a month, it would be September.

Apple’s computers continue to impress, as the company releases their iMac, a desktop computer with an M1 chip and a 24-inch 4.5K display. The iMac is designed to be just 11.5 millimeters in thickness and have an updated amount of storage and memory. The computer will be priced at $1,299 and will be available to buy in the second half of May 2021.

Another product that Apple is rumored to release in late 2021 is a few new sets of AirPods. The AirPods 3 are said to be produced without Active Noise Cancellation, a modification that Apple AirPods have had in the past. This would enable Apple to sell the AirPods 3 at a lower price point when it comes to marketing the product. The AirPods Pro are another popular set of earbuds, and they might be getting an update. Apple has hinted that the new Pro’s would have a more compact and spherical design, removing the white stem that sticks out from most other AirPod models. Additionally, the Pro’s would likely have a new wireless chip. Although there is no set date for these AirPods releases, sources hint at a release date before Christmas time of 2021.

In 2021 Apple will be introducing some exciting new features in a few rumored products. From the Siri-remote to the stemless Airpods Pro, there is much to look forward to in terms of technology and innovation this year. As our world increasingly relies on technology throughout daily life, it is important to keep an eye out for products such as the ones previously mentioned. The release of new technology tends to be of more and more significance to the general population as the virtual world gains power.
