“Rewarding and memorable”: Maham Zulfiqar, News writer
Finding space within the newspaper to grow and enjoy time at RV
Throughout my four years here at RV, I joined and left many clubs. There were some clubs that I liked and some that I hated, but there weren’t any that I enjoyed being in more than the Holly Spirit.
Working on the school newspaper taught me so many skills. I was able to step out of my comfort zone when interviewing people, improve my writing skills and found a new interest in journalism that I didn’t have before.

I want to thank everyone at the Holly Spirit for making this experience so rewarding and memorable. I want to thank Sara T for being such an amazing section editor and sacrificing her sleep to make our articles and our section of the paper as best as they can be. I want to thank Ms. Sherman for always having my back since junior year English class and who inspired me to join this club.
Being part of the Holy Spirit has definitely been a highlight of my high school career and I wish I had been able to do it for more than one year. I wish all the best for the future of our school newspaper.
