Poetry Out Loud (POL) is a poetry recitation competition held in high schools across the United States each year. Senior Victoria King has participated in Poetry Out Loud twice at RV with the guidance and support of Ms. Filauro and Mr. Pliskin. As part of the 2023 issue of Inklings, in collaboration with The Holly Spirit, editors Jeovana Williams and Paris Ford interviewed King and Filauro about their experience in POL, their relationship with poetry and beyond.
